What Erla is
Erla is a mobile app for learning a language by understanding it. You listen to short tasks voiced by native AI voices, read short stories with read-along audio and watch short videos with subtitles — then talk it through with an AI teacher.
It ships as 22 separate apps, one per learning language, on iOS and Android. You download “Erla: Learn Spanish with AI”, not a general app you have to set up. The interface and translations come in 35 languages.
Comprehension first
Most apps start with word lists and rules. Erla starts where your first language started: with things you can almost understand. Tap any sentence for a translation and an explanation, so you never get stuck, and you pick up vocabulary in context instead of from lists.
Erla is built for about fifteen minutes a day. A weekly plan, your daily progress and the Understanding Score show what you've done.
